Classic Car Park Lighting

Architectural classic car park lighting was used to illuminate both car parks and roadways at this upmarket business park.  The Citywest Business Campus on the outskirts of Dublin is home to many high tech companies and has been designed by landscape architects. At several locations throughout the Campus,  ‘Merrion’ car park luminaires have been installed, typically on 7m Columns with a black finish and with ‘Corinthian’ brackets.

Several hundred of these decorative street lights have been installed in this City West Business Campus. Other popular applications include hotels, retail centres and general road and street lighting.  The street light reflector system is very efficient and allows wide spacings to minimise capital cost, installation, energy, maintenance and clutter.

Metal Halide (MH) 150w type lamps were used for this project, and are also available in 35w to 250w MH, 70w to 250w High Pressure Sodium (HPS), and 40w or 80w LED. This classic car park lighting solution also comes in a standard and mini version. With a choice of mounting brackets, RAL finishes (black as standard), dimming, photocell and 3K or 5K colour temperature for LED (4K as standard), this luminaire can be easily adapted to suit specific needs.

The Merrion was recently installed in the new town lighting system at Durrow, Kilkenny where the LED optics are all controlled remotely from Council offices.
