External Area Lighting

External area lighting can often be achieved with the use of only 1 Luminaire, even in car parks with up to 120 car park spaces, if the Luminaire is suitably efficient.

Using a Supralite Luminaire can illuminate an area of 50m x 50m.  Four Luminaires would light an area of 100m x 100m.  An LED version of this External Area lighting Luminaire called SupraLED (or architectural LED version OptraLED) is also offered.   Mounting heights vary from 4m to 10m depending on the version chosen and the size of the wattage.

The wide spacings achieved between lighting columns saves on initial costs such as Luminaires, Poles, groundworks and concrete bases, underground wiring/trenching etc, and also ongoing costs such as electricity and maintenance.

Another benefit is the extra space provided by minimising Poles and the general improved appearance from reduction in column clutter.  Ongoing benefits mean less maintenance, energy running costs, etc.
