For large car park lighting projects, such as this Tesco in Lisburn, near Belfast, illumination with Supralite Luminaires is probably the most cost effective method of illumination. Tesco have this Luminaire installed throughout numerous stores in the UK and Ireland.
This Luminaire combines high light levels with wide Pole spacings to provide excellent savings on Luminaires, Poles and installation (Bases, underground wiring, etc). Typically 4 Luminaires will illuminate an area of 100m x 100m to recommended car park lighting standards. As well as the savings in Capital costs, there is the advantage of less clutter and there is more useable space for car parking. The Project above in Northern Ireland uses HPS lamps but increasingly white light is required, especially as the new Metal Halide lamps offer virtually the same performance.
The Luminaire can also be seen with many of the other large multiples in the UK or Ireland including Asda, Morrisons, LIDL, Dunnes, etc. A flat-glass architectural version of this Luminaire is also available.
