Parking Area Lighting

This Parking area Lighting in the Waterford Industrial Park provides car park lighting, roadway lighting  and illumination of the grass area between the road and the Building.

Post Top Versions of the Optra were specified by Consultant Engineers.  The Luminaire has the advantages of high light levels with wide Pole spacings and also full flat-glass cut-off to minimise glare and light spill.

Typically 4 Luminaires are needed for parking area lighting of  an area 100m by 100m.  This reduces column clutter, provides more area for Parking etc and saves significantly on underground trenching, wiring etc. The Luminaire is widely used and recent installations include Dublin airport Bus Station, a Playground in Donegal (Bunbeg), Ballymena, Mallow and Wexford Hospitals, 3 motorway service stations, 2 Merck Sharp & Dohme facilities, Cook Medical Germany, Microsoft Amsterdam, a Business Park in Glasgow, a Waitrose Supermarket near Bristol, etc. Several of these installations required illumination without glare or light spill and the Optra is believed to be the best Luminaire available in this category. Often the Luminaires are installed adjacent to busy main roads.

Parking Area Lighting

With LED optics and in high wattages, the Luminaire is available for a wide variety of commercial and industrial projects. They are popular for Parks (example Thurles or Enniscorthy town Park) or Retail area (Tesco Cabra or Shankill Shopping Centre near Bray) or general amenity area or entrance area (eg. Mater Private Hospital, Dun Laoghaire Harbour etc). Dali and other types of dimming are optional.
