A new Decorative Street lighting system was installed along the Riverbank in Kilkenny. This is one of the most attractive urban areas in Ireland, with Kilkenny Castle providing an impressive backdrop.
The old lighting was replaced with new HPS Lanterns, but with a traditional appearance. Lighting levels were significantly improved and the appearance of the new lighting enhances the centre of this tourist orientated heritage town.
With 8m decorative street light Poles, Avonnaise 75 brackets, and Vence Pendant Luminaires with a copper and black finish, the scheme has received much favourable comment. The Project was specified by the Local Authoritity and installed by the Airtricity contractors.
